Collect karma, points, rankings, and achievements to strengthen your reputation in our community. Every time you participate, you’ll get closer to achieving a higher ranking!
Karma & Leaderboards
When you give, you receive. Karma is your reward for contributing to the community. Receive Karma every time you win a contest or a member thanks you. The member with the most Karma every month will receive a premium membership (coming soon).
Points
Points are directly related to participation. Log in, create posts, leave comments, etc., to receive points. The more active you are, the more points you’ll earn. The more points you earn, the higher your ranking will be.
Rankings
Every time you reach a certain number of points, you’ll level up and your ranking will change. The higher your ranking, the stronger your reputation in the community. High rankings also come with exclusive prizes.
Achievements
Received 100+ likes from other members? Created a YouTube video for our community? Every time you reach a milestone, we’ll reward you with an achievement. You can think of this as a virtual trophy that you can proudly showcase on your profile.
Karma and leaderboards Explained
What Is Karma and what is the leaderboard for?
Karma is your reward for helping other members in the community. Whenever someone likes your post, you'll receive 1 Karma. Every time you win a contest, you'll receive some Karma.
We believe that communities are nothing without kindness. By giving photographers some of your knowledge and time, you'll be able to make the photography world a safer and friendlier place. No matter how experienced you are, we're confident that you have something valuable to share with our members.
How did you achieve a certain effect in your photos? What's your favourite camera gear? What's the best photo experience you've ever had? The more you share, the more you'll receive.
We have a leaderboard that highlights members with the largest amount of Karma. Every month, the member with the most Karma will receive a premium membership. (Which will be launched in September or October this year).
How to Earn Your First Karma
Win a Contest
Every time you win one of our monthly photo contests, you'll receive some Karma. Show us your creativity and take your photos to the next level!
Receive Feedback
You'll receive 1 Karma for every reply you get in our forums. Share your best tips, ask for constructive criticism, or simply ask a question. Helpful communication is key!
Get a Like
Every time someone likes your post, you'll receive 1 Karma. Let this inspire you to create outstanding posts. Our members love educational and insightful content.
Make New Friends
Our community is all about improving and making new friends. Every time someone accepts your friend request, you'll receive 1 Karma. Start reaching out to photographers!
Points Explained
What Are Points?
Points are related to participation. If you want to accumulate points, you should visit the forum every day, leave comments, and create your own posts. The more you do this, the easier it will be to make friends and collect Karma.
The number of points you have is important. Your points will grow over time, which will help you reach new levels. In our community, we call them rankings. Each ranking is unique. The higher your ranking, the stronger your reputation as a community member.

Join Our Latest Photo Contest
Every month, we announce a new contest in the community. Submit your photos for a chance to win 50 USD. You'll receive a point for submitting your entry.
Complete your Profile
Fill out your personal profile. What equipment do you use? What do you want the other members to know about you? The more you share, the easier it will be to make new friends.
Complete a Lesson
When you complete one of our course lessons, you'll receive a point. Take your photography knowledge to the next level and earn lots of points!
Engage in the Community
Interact with the other members, create new posts, and share tips. For every post and comment you make, you'll receive a point.
