Learning How to use your New Camera

We get a lot of questions. Probably one of the most common is, “How do I use my new camera”. The question is usually prefaced by I just got a new _____ _____ where you fill in the make and model. Well if you’re new to photography like many people tend to be this time of year, you are in luck because the general idea of what a camera is and how it works hasn’t changed much over the years and we have lessons and tutorials on how to use your new camera.
I’ll go ahead and assume if you just got a new camera, it’s probably a digital camera. If you had a film camera before and you’re curious how your digital camera is different see our lesson on going from film to digital.
