STUFF I LIKE AND HATE:

First, let me get this off my chest.

I DO NOT LIKE ANYTHING "DELL" ... in  a moment of weakness I bought a Dimension 3000 with a 17" LCD monitor.  Both crashed just a few months past warranty.  The PC crashed so bad that I was not able to even salvage the Hard Drives.  And the monitor's Power button got jammed up  and there was no way I could get it to power up.  I also bought a laptop from them that was so slow - despite every diagnostic checkup I could make - it was not usable.  I had to give it away.  I am still paying this junk off, even thouigh I no longer can use ANY  of it.

Amongst the stuff I DO like:

Anything "Olympus"..... they've been in the optics business for well over 100 years and their engineering is superior to most any other manufacturer.

Almost anything "Nikon".... almost because I feel their accessories - although very good - are grossly over-priced.

For quality photo prints..... Epson printers and Premium papers.    Totally wonderful quality paper and the printers do professional grade printing.

For excellent Photo Editing software........ IrfanView.  It is a powerful, lightweight program and it is FREE.
