Camera  won't work?  Camera leaks light?  Camera just messing up?

Don't despair.... we have some tips and solutions that could save you tons of money in camera repair or replacement.   Read on and smile:

NOTE:  If you have other good tips or links please email them to me at SKIP , in the meantime I'll be adding to these as I gather the info and pics.

First, the most common problem:   The camera, or flash, simply won't turn on. Are you certain the batteries are fresh?  If so, don't despair.... battery contacts can oxidize without being noticeable.  Take a pencil eraser, open the battery compartment and rub the eraser on the contacts until they appear clean.  ALL contacts of the battery, battery case cover  and inside the battery case. Now try to turn the camera on.  If this does not work, you may have more serious problems.
