Flashback to shopping malls in the 80’s – which were the epicenter of American culture. A social gathering place as much as a vehicle for shopping, people flocked to the mall for music, fashion, food, and people watching. Photographer Michael Galinsky has uncovered his own personal wormhole to this unique time in our country. It was the height of consumerism in America. The tragically bad fashion, the super-sized hair, and stores called, “Tape World”. It’s a mind bending trip to yesteryear, full of nostalgia and curiosity.
